Charles A. Collins
Charles Aloysius Collins began writing when he was a teenager in high school, inspired by the incredible works of speculative fiction that were being produced at that time. His efforts to put words to paper have been slowed by several notable events, the most important of which have been the pursuit of a doctoral degree in Theoretical Astrophysics at MIT, an unpredictable career in the field of information technology, and the arrival of each of his children. He currently resides in Omaha, Nebraska, with his wife Kara and six young Collinses. When he is not writing, he serves as a faculty member in the College of Information Technology at Bellevue University.
It is not easy for me to find a picture of myself that is relatively formal. I spend a lot of time around kids, so I am most often photographed eating chocolate cake or sticking my tongue out at someone. (Hmmm . . . perhaps this is a case of Too Much Information.) Anyway, this is the best I could find at the moment.
