Re-Releasing The Silver Seed

Well, we hope this sort of thing doesn't happen too often, but we have decided to declare a "mulligan". After going to print with The Silver Seed, we discovered a number of mistakes and omissions - on the cover, in the text . . . none of them big, but enough to compel us to do something about them. In spirit, what we are doing is to treat that first print run as a "quality assurance" run, as though the books produced should not have been released to the public. You can tell if your book is one of those by looking at the front cover. If it does not say "Book One of The Roc and The Griffon", you have one of the books from the "nonexistent" run.

The good news is that we promise to take care of you. If you have a book from that first run, and you are dissatisfied with it, just get it back to us and we will get you a replacement. On the other hand, the story is the same, so there is not much difference. Heck, if a miracle happens and the book actually becomes popular, it is possible that the first-run copies will actually be the more desirable ones.

We apologize for any confusion and/or inconvenience. We certainly hope that no material harm has resulted from our error; if it has, just let us know, and we will do what we can to make it right.
